Inspired by the magical charm of De Morgan's Fabulous Beast tiles, our Designer & Co-Founder Melanie set out to capture the essence of these mythical creatures in kimono form. Drawing on De Morgan's rich tapestry of motifs and patterns, we reimagined his fantastical beasts as bold and vibrant prints, printing them into the fabric of our kimono design with meticulous attention to detail.

Embracing the Spirit of Creativity and Innovation
While our kimono print design pays homage to De Morgan's iconic Fabulous Beast tiles, we also sought to infuse it with a sense of modernity, bridging the gap between past and present, tradition and innovation. Melanie achieved this by translating the prints into bold screen prints in vibrant colours to create wearable art!
